More than just a writing tool, each Prodir pen tells a story of quality, innovation, and ecological awareness—an experience that makes your brand shine.
Let’s dive in !

To start with, could you briefly introduce your brand? What’s the story behind the creation of Prodir?
Prodir is a Swiss manufacturer of promotional items with three production sites in Lamone, Cadempino and Novazanno, which are all in the Southern region of Ticino, Switzerland.
With local offices all over Europe and dedicated partnerships in almost all continents, Prodir pens can be bought all over the world. Founded in 1975 Prodir celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

What makes your brand unique compared to other stationery brands?
Prodir pens tend to be timeless with a focus on design, quality and sustainability. Continuous innovation ensures that Prodir remains the market leader in its field of branded ballpoint pens. We offer a huge variety of different kinds of products in all sorts of sustainable materials.
What philosophy and values drive your brand? Are there any key principles you stand for?
Prodir’s philosophy is to turn everyday objects into meaningful brand ambassadors. We believe in timeless Swiss design, sustainability and authenticity by creating high-quality, customizable pens that people keep and use. We don’t chase trends, we create them. At our core, we stand for clear communication, responsible production, and products that genuinely reflect a brand’s identity.
How do you perceive the added value for companies when they distribute your products?
When companies give out Prodir products, they’re offering something people actually want to keep and use, not just another throwaway giveaway. The added value lies in the fact that our pens become daily touchpoints for a brand. Every time someone writes with it, they’re reminded of the company behind it. It’s a powerful way to communicate quality, sustainability, and a commitment to good design. Leaving a lasting, and positive impression.
Could you give us some examples of corporate events where your products could be offered?
During roadshows, trainings sessions, showroom presentations, …
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve faced since launching Prodir?
Every day brings new challenges – the market is always on the move! Customers are not always aware of the high quality we offer with our ballpoint pens, which can be hurtle at times. That’s why it’s my role to communicate this clearly and effectively.
Do you have a personal favorite from your entire collection? If you could pick just one, which would it be?
My personal favorite Prodir design would be our QS50 Stone pen. It’s a real eye catcher, because of its luxurious design and heavier weight due to the mineral enriched material that’s used for its production. The combination with a metal push button and clip and the high-end metallic colour range definitely put this pen on top of my list.
What are your upcoming projects or long-term ambitions for Prodir?
After the summer, the trade fair season will start again for us. This means that we will be highly visible not only at the major, well-known trade fairs, but also at our customers’ premises through in-house exhibitions. Our long-term ambitions are to introduce as many new customers as possible to our beautiful brand, while also maintaining – and ideally expanding – our existing customer base.
What inspired you to collaborate with GIVEN?
It is always good to welcome new partners to our network, and GIVEN is no exception. This is a new company based in Brussels with a great team that radiates energy, something that goes hand in hand with Prodir.

And finally, if you had to describe your brand in a few words, what would they be?
Swiss-Made, Quality and Sustainability.
Jelle, Sales Account Manager at Prodir
